It is with deep regret that we advise you that Firefighter Mike Reagan, 19, of Ridley, and a member of the Sharon Hill Fire Company has died in the Line of Duty.
As you recall, while operating at a detached garage fire earlier this week, Firefighters were trapped following the collapse of that garage. Other Firefighters who were injured suffered non-life threatening injures.
More details will follow. Our deepest thoughts as prayers go out to all effected, especially the members of Sharon Hill...and Firefighter Reagan's parents, family and friends.

It was reported early today that Sharon Hill Fire Co. Firefighter Mike Reagan had died from his injuries sustained while fighting a garage fire on Wednesday night. That information was not accurate and was incorrectly reported by Crozer Chester Medical Center. Firefighter Reagan remains in very critical condition and is on life support.

Unsure whats going on... but lets hope for the best.

This afternoon at 1526 hours, Chief William Benecke received a call from the father of Firefighter Michael Reagan informing us that he had passed away as a result of injuries he suffered while fighting a fire on Wednesday, September 26, 2007.
Mike was an outstanding member of the Sharon Hill and Holmes Fire Companies. His dedication to serving his community as a fire fighter was an inspiration to all of us, and we are deeply saddened by his passing.
This is a sad day in the 101 year history of this company, but we will honor our fallen brother by continuing to serve the Borough of Sharon Hill as Mike would want us to do.
Michael's family has requested a Fireman's Funeral, with full company honors. We are in the planning stages at this time, but have no details as to time or place just yet.
On behalf of the members of the Sharon Hill Fire Company we thank everyone for the outpouring of support that we have received at this time of need.

Thank you,
Chris Eiserman
