Arrived to find the gentleman just over 30 feet an embankment with a pretty steep grade. EMS had made patient contact. 2-10 and 115 crew went down to assist with a backboard and stokes. Remaining 115 began to build a 3:1 haul system to the rope that was attached to the stokes. 2-10 lowered a roof ladder down the embankment to assist with traction on the ascent. 115 tied the ladder off to our anchor point. Another rope was lowered to assist with the crew coming up the hill. The rope system was used to assist in bringing the stokes back up the hill. Excellent job done by all. Great communication as usual. The new rope equipment really came in handy. It was quite ironic that we were actually at our station doing rope rescue when the call came in. Thankfully we remembered to bring the equipment along and just not drop and run.
