do you guys cut the entire windshied when you work a pin jb? we just cut right across the middle with a sawzall or window saw. no matter which way the roof is going. For us it depends on how f'ed up the car is we've never done the forward fold on a real pin job yet I bet 14 has... lol. I've done the forward flip once. We usually don't take roofs much out here. Either the car is on it's roof buried in a ditch orrrr it's really f'd up and we just roll the dash and then fold the entire side down.

Just a couple if questions: 1. Why did your crew not cut out the windshield? 2. What kind of extrication tools do you guys carry? do you guys cut the entire windshied when you work a pin jb? we just cut right across the middle with a sawzall or window saw. no matter which way the roof is going. Yeah we do. We have one of those windshield saws we use to cut it out.

Most of the time when I was with 45, and 20 showed up with the squad it was usually just a door pop. However there were a few occasions when we took off the roof and rolled it forward. Nice, easy and alot of access to the patient or patients.
