FULTON TOWNSHIP, PA -- During the early morning hours of December 19th, BOX 513 was transmitted for the reported barn fire in the area of Pilottown Road and Rigby Road Lane. Company 513 along with units from Cecil & Harford Counties were alerted as part of the first alarm assignment with LCWC getting multiple calls of a working barn fire. Chief 513 was the first chief officer to arrive reporting a large barn well off and taking the 513 command. Moments after his report to communications, Command 513 transmitted the 2nd Alarm Assignment bringing in Add'l Units from Lancaster, Chester & Cecil counties. All hand were working for about 2 1/2 Hours to bring the blaze under contorl. The large barn, which held hay and other farm equipment was a complete loss. The fire was placed under investigation by PSP Fire Marshals, Which deemed the fire arson. This fire along with two other barn fires and a brush fire since October 2007 were confessed to be set by a Fireman from Robert Fulton Fire Company.
