Is this dept an all volunteer dept.? yup... the vollies out east have nice shit!!! They also aren't all hillbilly little towns either... some of them have large populations and run pretty steady. LanCo is busy!

Just a rumor now but I've heard from some white hat types that one of the larger departments in my area is getting a TDA. If they do I can't wait to see it!

I hope at some point in my career i get to see one up close and personal. I have never seen a TDA in real life. I don't think any dept in Mich. has one, at least to my knowledge.

I got to drive the rear of one when we went on our Seagrave factory tour. Only on their property, but it was still odd. You turn the opposite way the rig itself is going and they said if you don't time it right you can torque up tractor and the rig itself pretty bad!

There are 3 Tillers in Nassau County. All are ran by volunteers.

Eden has a dozen live ins as well....A great lookin rig! TDA's will always have a place in the fire service.
