Comstock Twp. Fire & Rescue
Kalamazoo County, Michigan
Comstock Twp is located in southwest lower michigan just east of the City of Kalamazoo.
We cover 36 square miles
with a populatiion of 15,000
with 3 stations that are manned 24/7/365
by our paid on-call personnel
We cover 6 miles of I-94
We answer 1200+ calls for service per year
We run both fire and P1 EMS calls with our local
ambulance service, PrideCare Ambulance
Staffing includes the following:
1-full time chief
1-fulltime Lt/Fire Marshall
1-fulltime admin assist.
1-Deputy Chief
1-Asst. Chief
4-Captains
6- Lieutenants
35-Firefighters
Equipment includes:
1- Heavy rescue
1-Medium rescue
4-Engines
2- Brush trucks
2-support vehicles (chiefs car, fire marshals car)
