Quarryville firefighters battled a house fire in the southern end of Lancaster county on Tuesday afternoon that displaced seven people.
Quarryville Fire Company was dispatched to 100 Sunset Drive in East Drumore Township for a dwelling fire on Tuesday afternoon at 16:18 hours by Lancaster County-Wide Communications for a dwelling fire. Quarryville was assisted by Bart Township Fire Company and Rescue 5-12 from Willow Street for the RIT assignment. EMS provided by SVEMS 7-7-9 and Ambulance 5-9 Providence Township.
The cause of the fire at 100 Sunset Drive in East Drumore Township is still under investigation by Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshals.
There was nobody home when the fire broke out in an old farmhouse that was converted to two residences.
