EPHRATA TOWNSHIP, PA -- On a freezing Friday morning, The Street assignment was transmitted to the area of Route 272 and Grandview Drive for the reported PIC. While crews went en route, LCWC advised of reported one patient trapped and was upgrading the assignment. Fire Radio transmitted the Rescue Local BOX adding Rescue Squad 115 and Engine 15-2. Crews arrived with one person confined after a two vehicle collision at the intersection in front of Ephrata Hospital. Engine 16-2 deployed their tools and popped the door to free the patient in the small Saturn. EMS transported all patients by ground as Fire crews cleared all hazards from the scene.
