2 1/2 story wood frame fire in the c division long responce got caught up doing something after drill herd the 30 min report heavy fire thoughout defencive operations engine 2-1 engine 27 squad 18-3 got hit out for a cover asignment from norht end of the county to the south no clue what alarm it was on or whos there anymore info?  |

This was in Chiselhurst. 24-1 local but they closed down so 25-8 and 23-2 are first due. This was a big house with fire thru out. I believe it stayed at the first alarm but had many special calls to probably equal a 3rd alrm. Heard most of Dist 25, heard 22, 21-1, possibly Atlantic County 9 but not sure.

sounded like it was a hell of a responce because 2500 signed on location and there was only 1 engine on the street and it took them for ever to get there and they lead off with a2 1/2

Not sure where the BCs in Dist 25 are located but they seem to get there quick where ever the call is. I give credit to Dist 25 and 23 for stepping up to cover Dist 24 while they are shut down. Hopefully 24-1 will reopen soon and be better than ever. Time will tell, lets just hope that a life doesn't have to wait.
