These are a few pics of our 1943 Seagrave that is kept at my station.what I have been told this truck was built originally for the Army to be sent overseas during WWII. However it never did see any action. CFD purchased it at an auction in '44. Since it was built for the Army it was painted army green so CFD had it painted red before it was put into service. It was taken out of service sometime in the 60's. About 3yrs ago some members of the dept began to restore this piece. The engine was overhauled, it was repainted, and several pieces of original equipment was restored to almost new condition. We now use it for parades and we take it local car shows. Its call number is Engine 43. Origianl picture: New pictures:
