May 16th 2009, 00:02 AM Rescue Local, Pennsylvania Avenue and Forestville Road, Box 23-02.
Engine 823, Rescue Squad 827, Medic 829, Ambulance 823, EMS 814 were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident at the above address with reported five patients with four trapped. Upon arrival units from Forestville found a two vehicle accident. One patient was pronounced priority four at the scene. The assignment was upgraded due to the severity of the call bringing, Rescue Squad 808, Ambulance 808, EMS 801, Paramedic Ambulance 805, Medic 846, C808B, Battalion Chief 803.
Command requested two helicopters to land just south of the accident and engine 823B responded to set up the LZ. US Park Eagle One and Trooper Two landed just south of the scene and took three trauma patients to the Baltimore Shock Trauma and Suburban Trauma. One additional patient was transported to a local area hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Due to the seriousness of the accident the accident reconstruction team was notifed. Units were released at approximately one hour after the initial dispatch.

Just found out that the Priority Four patient had Hepatitis. Hope the medics who pronounced the patient had gloves on.

Hopefully they wear gloves with ANY patient contact.
