Just getting back from a working house fire; Single story residence with heavy fire showing on arrival. Essex made a quick knock on the fire while the first due truck and third due engine from Old Saybrook opened up and went to work on the rest of the building. essex ladder 671 was out of service, bumping saybrook tower 371 to first due truck company. Saybrook units released in under an hour. Essex units (dept 6) engine 6541st due engine 652 2nd due Tanker 663 watersupply heavy rescue 69 1st due 'scue engine 657 4th due Old Saybrook Units (dept 3) 371 truck 1st due truck company engine 351- 3rd due engine utility 33- manpower Westbrook units (dept 4) Engine 467 RIT engine 466 station coverage essex HQ Deep River Units (dept 5) engine 552- 2nd alarm manpower engine 554 2nd alarm manpower Clinton (dept 9) chief 902 Driver training An honor going to work with you sir!

902 was not the only 1.......operating 657 was Chummer and I was on 466 covering Essex.......663 never made it out it was still in the house when we got there....I almost did some driver training in it........

THATS BECAUSE BRANDON HAD TO BRING IT BACK! LOL his father turned him around bcause it was a hydranted area.

Essex did have a great knock down, i arrived right after the first engine. I was part of the R.I.T Team for Westbrook. Ladder971 thanks for your help with our cover engine.
