just returning from a job in chester. A 1 1/2 story woodframe residential with heavy fire out of side 3 and the roof on arrival. Chester chief 701 reported that he had heavy fire and no manpower on first in units. Chester recieved Deep River to the scene, Old Saybrook for RIT, haddam to the scene, and essex's tanker to the scene on the inital Dispatch. The fire was knocked in a matter of minutes, the roof came down on the 1-4 corner of the house making overhaul an interesting feet. No water supply issues due to a close water hole to draft from. All in all a decently run scene by Chester!!!!! I am happy to report that RIT was dispatched automaticlly this time and not forgotten!!!! *pics to follow if i can obtain them, i gotta remember to bring my camera More often, ladder 971 where were you? ?? Oh wait nevermind!
