Douglas County Colorado, near Larkspur - Interstate 25 at mile marker 171 - MCI declared // numerous MVA's Castle Rock - BC151, E151, M151, M155, M159 Larkspur - C162, E161, M161, M165 South Metro - M39, M34 Tri-Lakes - M18 AMR Ambulance 901 & 902 Action Care Ambulance 109 Douglas County OEM 1 has the command // IC on DC FIRE OPS 3 Listen Live @ www.parkerfire.org13:11 - Sky Ridge Medical Center (Closest Hospital) is now on ER Divert due to the amount of patients from this scene.

Between 15 & 20 patients were transported from this MVA. The scene was so large on the interstate, it had to be broken into divisions.

Between 15 & 20 patients were transported from this MVA. The scene was so large on the interstate, it had to be broken into divisions. Well... MPI's are usually split into a 2 divisions... EMS Command and a Fire Command... aka Unified Command

Yes CooTer, I'm aware of how the ICS works. Due to the scene being so large from a geographical stand point, the MVA had to be divided into North and South Divisions.
Because of limited personnel there were no indivdual groups like Triage, Staging etc. and the only unified command existed between the OEM, Fire & State Police.
No patients could be flown out because all air-medical units were grouned due to weather - also the main factor of the accident.
