SILVER HILL, MD -- BOX 29 was transmitted to 5823 Center Drive for the reported shed on fire. Engine 291 arrived on scene with a shed on fire next to a house requesting to fill the Box alarm. Communications upgraded the assignment to the house fire as the crew battled the fire, which had now spread to the house. The Working Fire was transmitted as the first alarm units were being brought up. Command reported he now had a 2 1/2 story woodframe well off with exposure problems. As crews worked to bring the fire under control and were doing overhaul over an hour later they found a large dog still alive in the basement. The dog was taken to the Vets for a check-up.
