The Andrews AFB rig is an E-ONE/Teledyne, designated a P-23. It is very similar to the E-ONE HPR ARFF rigs in appearance, however the truck was designed by the U.S. Air Force, and was not commercially available. It carries 3300 gal H2O, 500 gal AFFF, 500 lbs dry chem agent, and has 2000 GPM pump. These trucks were built around 1993-1996 (approximately). There is one minor problem associated with these trucks. The wheels fall off! Due to defects in the hub assemblies, a wheel may detach from the truck while driving. There have been approx. 6 documented cases Air Force wide. Will go over 70 mph though.
I am a former USAF firefighter, and I am certified to drive the P-23
