3683 o/s w/ 1 Entrapment with Cardiac Arrest Medic's 35 and 100 3639 w/4 3621 w/4 C3603 3683 requesting aero-medical to fly 3621 advised LZ will be next to Sta. 368. 3639 o/s going into service with Tools 3621 to arrive and pull 1 3/4" line for protection.

3603 now requesting Eng from 221 for LZ. 3614 to respond to scene to assist w/ extrication. 3603 marking Extrication complete @ 1506, requesting 3rd BLS unit to scene.

2211 enroute w/4, Communications advised Southstar has 2 minute ETA, 2211 advised they were approx. 5 mins out.

3683 and Medic 35 enroute by ground to Marlton w/ 1 PT in Cardiac Arrest Command reporting Southstar can return.

Why request medevac for mvc with a patient in cardiac arrest? They don't fly codes on southstar. Just curious did they know they had a code when they requested the fly?

The medic unit requested aero-medical to fly after signing on due to the report from communications that there was a 13 year old entrapped with a puncture to temple and bleeding from the nose. I don't have any background in EMS but I am assuming the medic's figured it was serious head trauma so they requested aero-medical to fly.
