Around 1700 hrs Tues evening, Comstock Twp FD Central station was dispatched to a reported PI accident on I-94. Rescue/Engine 951 and 933 responded to the scene. Units arrived to find a Ford Explorer rolled over in the roadway. Personnel determined they had one pt. in the vehicle who was pulseless with agonal breathing. Medics from PrideCare ambulance arrived, put pt on the monitor and found the pt to be flat line. Firefighters had to extricate the deceased from the vehicle. The cause of the crash was a tire that had come off a vehicle traveling westbound that bounced on the roadway flew threw the air and landed on the eastbound side directly threw the sunroof of the explorer killing the driver instantly. Units were clear of the highway around 1900hrs.
