Old Saybrook, CT TT unit carrying fireworks rolls over.
Dept 3 was dispatched to a Tractor Trailer rollover on the I-95, Rt. 9 interchange. The TT unit had rolled over the steep embankment causing serious concerns about the stability of the cargo. which was discovered to be Fireworks and wood
! Bomb squad, DEP, and the state firemarshal were called to the scene to assist in the massive cleanup.
During this call heavy rescue 391 was released to tend to another MVA on I-95 that required the extrication of driver.
