Oldsaybrook, Connecticut - Oldsaybrrok Fire dept. Dept 3
Dept 3 was disaptched to a vessel taking on water at the mouth of the connecticut river. Units arrivide to find a 35' fishing vessel with a blown packing around the prop shaft casuing a significant leak. pumps were started by sea tow and 3-2 to make matters worse the vessel was in a shallow area in a falling tide, time was becoming an issue. vessel was towed up river by seatow, Osfd marine units preovided escort until vessel was pulled from the water at a marina.
