Body Of Missing Lancaster County Hunter Found
EAST PETERSBURG, Pa. -- A deer hunter's body from Lancaster County was found in Sullivan County.
Jim Ott, 61, of East Petersburg, was on a hunting trip when he disappeared Tuesday. Ott was a volunteer firefighter at East Petersburg Fire Company.
East Petersburg Fire Company Chief James Rohrer Jr. said he and the other firefighters were devastated to hear the news of Ott's disappearance. Thee firefighters made plans Monday to help in the search.
"The guys are willing to go up, even if we just cook, do paperwork for them, whatever. But they're hunting one of ours and we need to help," said Rohrer.
Dozens of firefighters from three counties also helped with the search.
