We've had some fires recently and I thought I post some briefs on them.

Kaneville Barn- General Alarm
In late evening Kaneville was alerted for a confirmed barn fire due to a wood burning stove on South Schrader Rd. Kaneville engine went on scene with only smoke showing and minimal fire from the chimney and roof area. Fire was quickly knocked and overhaul was done. Units cleared shortly there after.

Dekalb 1st Level Box
A fire broke out on First St. in Dekalb City a little after midnight.
the fire was upgraded to a box alarm response bringing Maple Park w/ and engine to the scene and Kaneville with an engine change of quarters to Dekalb Station 1.

Sugar Grove 1st Level Box
Sugar Grove and neighboring companies were alerted in the late morning for a working attic fire on North Buckingham Dr.. SGFD units went on scene with smoke showing from the second floor and eaves prompting them to upgrade to a box alarm response. Kaneville, Elburn, North Aurora, Big Rock, Oswego, Aurora, Montgomery, Geneva all assisted in the fire. Units cleared a couple hours later.
