Three firefighters were killed in two separate fires Tuesday afternoon. The first two firefighters were killed during a major wildland fire in Ordway, Colorado when the truck they were riding in fell through a burned out bridge.
A third firefighter was killed when the SEAT (Small Engine Air Tanker) he was flying, crashed near the fireline at another wildland fire outside of Colorado Springs.
