Was awaken by police and a crash forgot my camera in the house sorry www.pgfdfire.com/history.html?view=1&id=16320Story from www.pgfdfire.com Pic's can also be found at the above link Three people were trapped and three others were able to free themselves when two cars hit head-on early this morning in Riverdale Heights. Around 2:30 am (10/4) units from Riverdale Heights station 813, Hyattsville station 801 along with several EMS units was alerted for a motor vehicle accident at Riverdale Road and Auburn Ave. Units arrived on the scene and reported a two car accident with one person trapped in one car and two other trapped in the second vehicle. A second rescue was requested to the scene to assist in removing two of the trapped victims. The crew from Hyattsville Rescue Squad 801 and the crew from Berwyn Heights Rescue Squad 814 (second rescue squad) were able to free the three victims within 20 minutes; they were transported to a local trauma center in serious condition. Three others also were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation by county police. I listened to that the other night.....I caught the call 1/2 through and missed where it was. Sounded like it went pretty smooth.....

And of course squad 813 is no longer in service...that musta sucked bro. yes and no....we carry a set of small tools on 131 but didnt have them on at the time but squad 1 got there quick
