det 5 was dispatched to warsaw ans stanwoll for the working structure fire with injuries and questionable entrapment. Connecticut state police on scene reporting a two story wood fully involved with a stabbing victim on the porch, wires down in the road as well.

The following towns have been dispatched:
DEEP RIVER 5 - 4 engines and a truck
chester 7 - what ever they can get out during the day ( in other words 1 engine with just a driver)
OLD SAYBROOK3- BOYS FOR THE RIT (rit engine and the polaris w/ 9)
ESSEX 6- 2 engines and the truck
westbrook and killingworth to cover the region.

it looks as if the house was torched after the homeowner stabbed himself. reportedly his spouse filed for divorce the evening prior.

Here is the story and some minor corrections. 2 1/2 story wood going good. Homeowner was the stabbing victim. He doused himself and the house in gasoline. House went up he did not for some reason. Initial size up was from the ambo Deputy Chief. Towns on scene were Deep River, Chester 2 Engines-1 on scene 1 for coverage plus a tanker. Essex 2 Engines and a Tanker westbrook Tanker. Killingworth o cover Winthrop section of Deep River and Westbrook to cover Essex. There was a question of a person still inside however 1 person performed the quick search with no results. She was later found at work.
House was about 1200-1300 sq ft........tyipical DR performance........
