This is our brand new county training fire tower. This something we really needed in our area. It has several burn rooms, elevator shaft, roof ventilation simulator, fireplace with a brick chimney for chimney fires and other stations. There is a lot of land that is going to be used for other things. In the future there will be a gun range for law enfocement, K-9 course, portable class rooms, driving range, pond for drafting practice and some other ideas floating around. This project was funded thru several donations from local companies and each dept. in the county contributed a portion also.
