At 11:16pm The Twin Valley Fire Department along with the The Honey Brook Fire Company were dispatched to a dwelling Fire on Hillview Drive.
Deputy 69(Romig) arrived on scene first and advised that he had a working fire. The fire was in the attached garage and was already starting to work its way into the house, Deputy 69 established "Hillview Command". Engine 69-2 arrived and firefighters deployed the 1-3/4" front bumper CAFS line and started going to work on the garage and the first floor. Firefighters from Engine 69-2(Grazioli and Hornberger) encounter heavy fire, heat and smoke on these floors.
Ladder 69 arrived and backed in the driveway and took the front yard of the house. Lieutenant 33 (D. Brooks) along with Assistant 69 (J. Cook) made it to the roof and vented multiple holes because the fire was running the attic space. Deputy 33 (Messner) threw ground ladders and vented the second floor windows
Engine 69-5 arrived and picked up the 5" Line at the end of the driveway and supplied Engine 69-2 with water. Engine 33-5 arrived and assisted 69-5 with the operation. Crews from 33-5, Assistant 33 (Jackson) and FF Ott extended the leader line off 69-2 around the front of the house and dropped the gated "wye" at the door and stretched the 100' 1 3/4" CAFS line to the second floor to get a knock on the fire. As Crews made it up the Stairs they encountered heavy Fire, heat and smoke on the Second Floor and Attic Areas.
The Fire was brought under control within a Half Hour and Firefighters made a great stop, keeping the fire to the one end of the Home, a great job done by all. The bulk of the fire damage was limited to the garage, kitchen, and attic area's, with no water damage due to the CAFS.
