Sunday, March 8, 2009 - PA. FIRE POLICE OFFICER HAS HEART ATTACK AT COMMUNITY DETAIL-LODD

During a Bart Twp Fire Company community event at their firehouse, an on-duty fire policeman, John Lawrence, a member of the Bart Twp Fire Company in Lancaster County was directing traffic and fell over with a medical emergency. A CPR instructor close by started CPR immediately and crew from the fire dept. responded with an AED and initiated 1 shock which brought FPO Lawrence back and he was talking to them. John was transported by ambulance to Lancaster General Hospital ER but unfortunately later passed away.
