IREDELL COUNTY - Mount Mourne, Shepherds, and Lake Norman Fire Departments were dispatched to this structure fire on Foursquare Road on Saturday March 14, at around 23:30 hours.
Upon arrival of Mount Mourne Engine 1, units found a single story vacant residence with heavy fire showing.
Two 1.75-inch hoselines were put to work while a four-inch supply line was laid to the water supply.
It took personnel about 30 minutes to control the blaze.
Nobody was injured in the fire and all units cleared around 05:45.
Mount Mourne Engine 1 was first on scene with Chief 700 as Command.
