Report of a house fire with people inside
This incident occured this morning on the west side of the county. Crews from Texas and Oshtemo ran on the first alarm. When they got there it sounded like they definite entrapment with heavy fire showing. Here is the outcome:
9 people were transported and released from the hospital
2 people, 1 child, 1 adult are in critical condition
4 children from ages 2-5 were killed
This is the first multi fatality fire in the county since 2003.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and to all the firefighters who worked so hard to try to save those kids.
