Sounds like crews from Company 57 recovered two dogs from the mobile home, Engine 57-4 had the bulk of the fire knocked in about 5 minutes with three lines in service. Command reported one line was burnt through due to embers.
Good job to everyone involved, sounded like a well run incident.

Wednesday, May 13, 2009 - At 7:39 pm Wednesday evening, the first alarm assignment was alerted for a mobile home fire at 313 Solanco Road in Colerain Township. The dispatch consisted of the QFD, the Union Fire Company of Oxford (Engine 21-2 / RIT) and Susquehanna Valley EMS. Chief 5-7 (Tim Cox) responded from a meeting at station and was advised of multiple calls reporting a working fire. The Chief arrived less than 4 minutes later confirming a working fire, with approximately 50% of the home involved. Engine 5-7-4 arrived and stretched the 2" line for attack due to the heavy fire conditions on side "A". The 3 person line crew advanced making the push and knocking down the fire on the enclosed front porch and living room / kitchen area. Two other firefighters began a search for anyone who may have been trapped. Neighbors reported that there were two dogs inside also. Within 3 minutes of the engine's arrival, the bulk of the fire was knocked down. Other QFD units arrived and took care of ventilation, additional searches, lighting and several other tasks. Firefighters found the two dogs in the kitchen area. One was deceased, the other, however, was still alive. Lt. Neff and Lt. Bare applied the pet oxygen mask to the dog and along with the squad driver, transported the dog to Lancaster Pet Emergency Center on N. Queen St. in Lancaster City. These oxygen masks were donated to the Lancaster County Fire Companies by the Lancaster County Animal Response Team (CART). Thanks to them, this dog was able to be revived and should be well enough to return to its owner soon. Units remained on the scene for about 3 hours while the PSP Fire Marshal conducted an investigation into the cause of the fire, which appears to be accidental. No firefighters or civilians were injured in the blaze. Thanks to Bart Twp. FC Engine 5-1-1 and crew for standing by at our station while we were out. From www.QFD57.com
