(Note: I was not on the engine but at the station when this call came out.)
Approximately at 7:38 PM, Monday September 7th, engine 823 and ambulance 823 were alerted for the motor vehicle accident at Woodyard Road and Welshire Drive, Box 2306. Units arrived on the scene to find a two vehicle MVA with entrapment. The call was upgraded bringing Rescue Squad 820, Medic 820, Ambulance 845, and Ambulance 827. In all four adult patients were sent to Southern Maryland Hospital and two children were sent to Childrens Hospital in DC.
