Great Pics Pump!!!
Just curious about somethings though. After looking over the pics the stabilization on the car is not really stabilization at all and the car is not depowered before extrication began. Seems to me that the engine company should have worried about engine company functions and left the rescue worry about rescue functions. Pd confirmed this was a priority 4 patient so why were the basics not completed. Even if this was a Priority 1 patient safety and basics should have been completed first. Just some thoughts.

I notcied that the lights were still on while they were extricating. Another thing I noticed was that the EMS personel were not wearing any bunker gear.

EMS doesnt always need to wear bunker gear if they aren't inside the car.

Hey reiff85 you are completely correct. "sometime you just cant do everything how everyone else thinks it should be done" But instead of getting your panties in a bunch why don't you look at the fact that this is a great learning tool and a way to see things outside the typical box you look into. Safety to the responder is always the number 1 priority. No one is trying to pick a fight but sometimes departments need someone from outside to look at things to show them their errors so they don't continue to happen. No person or department is perfect being able to take constructive criticism will however make you a better person or department.

Maybe Lincoln should stop worrying about trying to be the boro rescue company and stick to doing engine work. Everyone knows they are the ones that put out the fires in the boro, not pioneer.
