BOROUGH OF AKRON, PA -- On Tuesday March 23rd, BOX Alarm 12 was transmitted to the 900 Block of Main Street in Akron Borough for the reported house on fire. Chief 12 checked up with multiple reports of a porch on fire endangering the structure, He arrived moments later confirming a working fire on Side Bravo of the home. Rescue/Engine 12-1 was directed to stretch a pre connected line to the fire and go to work on arrival. Crews made quick work of the fire and checked for extension.
