MANHEIM TOWNSHIP LANCASTER COUNTY, PA -- As the snow started to fall hard, LCWC transmitted BOX Alarm 27 to the 2700 Block of Lititz Pike for the reported house fire. Engine 271 arrived on scene reporting smoke showing from a 2.5 story wood frame and passed command. Crews reported fire on the first floor and encountered moderate smoke conditions. As crews started to vent the structure, Members reported fire conditions in the basement. The fire was knocked down with-in minutes and companies went ready in about two hours after their arrival.
