CLAY TOWNSHIP LANCASTER COUNTY, PA -- Around 16:00 hours on Saturday January 29th, The rescue local was transmitted to the area of Rock Road and Route 322 for the reported PIC with entrapment. Crews from Companies 16, 14 along with EMS from Ambulance 21 and Warwick EMS Medic 12 were advised of a two vehicle crash with one reported confined. During the incident Ambulance 112-1 was added to the assignment for a second patient as crews from Engine 14 deployed a protection line. Rescue Squad 16 went to work on the extrication of the patient of the silver sedan. Senior rescue members made the decision to extricate the patient through the passenger side door to minimize extrication time and tool use.
