MANHEIM TOWNSHIP, PA -- At around 17:14 Hours on August 17th, BOX Alarm 20-201 was transmitted to the Pizza Hut on Manheim Pike for the reported building fire. Units on the 20 BOX were advised of smoke and fire inside the building. Tower 67 (Rohrerstown) was the first arriving unit confirming smoke showing from the bravo side of the one story building. D/C 204 requested the 20 minute marks be started and the Working Fire dispatch be transmitted on the assignment. D/C 20 took the Pizza Hut command as units went to work. During the incident, Second alarm was transmitted for manpower. The assignment was scaled back quickly as units marked control on the fire.
