Well I finally got my first fire call last night but it was out upon arrival of course want did not help was Battalion Chief 3 who had everybody coming in the wrong entrance. The place has only three working hydrants. Yes you are reading that correctly three working hydrants. The rest are out of service or only have ten pounds of water pressure. Anyway here's the run down....
Box 26-21 6597 Pennsylvania Ave near Regency Parkway and Walters Lane reported apartment fire.

Tower 821 and Water Supply 825 were placed in service. The fire turned out to be a small fire in an empty apartment. We were lucky on this one because of one of the apartment dwellers managed to knock it down with a garden hose.
