District 63, R 82, BLS 63 dispatched to 6th and Cottage Aves. 6300 arrived with heavy smoke showing with a possible kitchen fire. The All Hands was then struck and Rehab 13-8 and CFM 5 were added. Tower Ladder 61 was special called on the job and R 82 who was the assigned FAST Team was put to work. Eng 822 who just cleared an assignment in the area was special called as the new FAST Team. 6300 reported heavy fire and All Hands were operating. Eng 60 and Ladder 641 covered District 63. Fire was placed under control around the 30 minute mark.
