The shoreline of middlesex county was burning yesterday with 2 fire hours apart in the town of clinton, CT. The first Fire was located on Beach park rd and was knocked down by Clinton Dept 9 within fifteen minutes. an extensive overhaul was conducted. Ladder971 from these forums had the nob! Also Killingworth Dept 8 was brought to the scene for manpower along with the Rapid Intervention team from Old Saybrook Engine 351.
In between jobs Old saybrook engine 351 was sent to the town of westbrook for a large natural as main break with exposures to many building in the downtown area. hazards were mitigated in about an hour.
The next Job would come in at 1:39 am also locate din clinton. The location was 47 Nod rd. agani manpower was taken from Killingworth along with a rapid Intervention team from Old Saybrook Engine 351. a Busy fire filled weekend for Old Saybrook and Clinton!

We got lucky with the 1st fire houses are 8-10 ft apart and the fire just started to lap up the side of the house upon arrival. All in all easy work knockdown and overhaul used 1/4 tank of water. ! line used.
